Questions
Your questions, answered.
Here are clear answers about accuracy and our safety rules, the difference between the Campaign and Business editions, how the pricing works, what it takes to get started, and how Lina compares to a simple chat widget or a pile of separate tools stitched together. If you don't see your question, just ask us.
Trust and accuracy
The platform is built so you can trust it with your name. Accuracy and honesty aren't left to each organization's prompt — the platform code gives the AI the same core rules on every conversation, and no setting removes them.
Is it accurate? Does it make things up?
Accuracy comes first. The platform instructs it not to make things up and to answer from your knowledge base, and if a question is unclear or sensitive, it gets handed to your team. Like any AI it can still get something wrong, so review what it says. If an answer is ever wrong, you can fix it instantly from the Command Center dashboard — it's correct in the very next message, with no retraining needed.
Does it pretend to be human?
No. If someone asks whether they're talking to a person or an AI, it is built to tell them the truth — on both the website chat and the phone. That instruction comes from the platform, and no setting in the dashboard can turn it off.
What if it gives a wrong answer?
Unclear or sensitive questions get handed to your team instead of guessed at. If an answer is wrong, you can fix it instantly, and it's correct in the very next message. On the phone, a limit on every call also keeps any single call from costing too much.
Isn't AI risky for an organization like ours?
We start from a set of platform rules: it is instructed not to make things up, it is built to tell people it's an AI, it never reveals its instructions, and handing off to a real person is built in. You stay in control and can fix anything, and you're welcome to start small with a limited pilot first.
Editions
One system, two editions — the Campaign edition, built for elections, and the Business edition, built for the front desk. Same platform underneath, set up very differently.
What's the difference between the Campaign and Business editions?
It's the same system underneath, set up two different ways. The Campaign edition keeps the political toolkit (the editions page lists it). The Business edition has the political features switched off, leaving a support chatbot, an AI phone front desk, and a customer record system. You pick the edition when you sign up, and neither one costs extra.
Whose brand is it under? Who owns the data?
Yours, fully. Each customer gets their own sealed, separate space — your data, your brand, kept apart from everyone else. It starts out plain, labeled 'Your Organization,' and becomes completely yours as you set it up from the dashboard: the public website, the phone line, and the admin dashboard itself.
Pricing
Three flat plans — Starter at $49 a month, Pro at $99, Complete at $349. There are no setup fees, and the AI (plus phone minutes on Pro and Complete) is included up to a monthly limit. Pay yearly and get 2 months free.
How does pricing work — won't AI usage blow up the bill?
Your plan is your whole bill — $49, $99, or $349 a month, with no setup fees. We run the AI and the phone line for you, and each plan includes a set amount of AI answers (and phone minutes on Pro and Complete) every month. We email you at 80% and 100%; once you hit the limit, paid use pauses instead of adding charges. Need more? We'll agree a price first. Paying yearly gives you 2 months free.
Do customers share one system, or get their own?
Yes — on the hosted platform, every customer gets their own sealed space at their own web address, with separate storage and separate logins, kept apart from every other customer. If your organization wants a completely separate system on its own infrastructure, we build that as a white-label custom project.
Getting started
Signup is by invitation for now, and we help every early customer get set up personally. Once you have a code, your space is created within minutes; making it yours is content you set up in the dashboard, no coding involved. On Complete, we do that part for you.
How fast can we go live?
Days, not weeks. With an invite code, signing up takes minutes and your space is ready right away; then we load your knowledge and set up your phone line with you. Making it yours is content you set up in the dashboard, no coding needed: your name, colors, links, and knowledge. On Complete, we load it all for you.
What do we need from you to get started?
Your brand basics (name, colors, logo), a few pages of content or your website address to get the knowledge base started, and who on your team should get logins and alerts. You don't need an AI account or a phone account — we provide the AI and, on Pro and Complete, a phone number.
How do I use my own web address on the Complete plan?
It comes with the Complete plan, and we set it up with you. Every plan comes with yourname.linasystems.org right away; on the Complete plan we connect your own web address (like help.yourbrand.com) together — you add the settings we send you, and we finish the connection and the secure certificate. Your original address keeps working the whole time.
Can I try it before deciding?
Yes. There's a live demo running the exact same system real customers get — you can try it as the Campaign edition or the Business edition — and we'll also set up a walkthrough using your own brand before you have to decide anything.
How it compares
This isn't just a chat box added onto your site. It's the whole set of tools you need — chat, phone, a knowledge library, a customer record system, and an admin dashboard — all branded as you, on one simple bill.
We already have a chatbot. How is this different?
This is more than a chat box. You get chat, plus an AI phone agent that's on call day and night, plus a knowledge library that fixes its own mistakes, plus one combined customer record system, plus an admin dashboard — one branded system, one bill. The phone line by itself is usually already more than a typical chat widget offers.
Still deciding? Watch the same system running in a real operation today — then we'll set it up under your own brand.
Get startedWho it’s for
For teams checking how AI answers, included usage, and setup work before choosing a plan.
How it works in 3 steps
- 1Choose your plan and sign up. If an invitation is required, request a code first.
- 2Add your organization’s knowledge and brand in the dashboard. See the setup guide.
- 3Share your web address and start answering from your knowledge. Phone and staff drafting tools are available on eligible plans; compare features.
